 Flash Media Show Intro
Show is an easy deployed and reliable resolution for displaying and managing multi-media resource, which taking the advantage of graphic presentation capability of Flash, using Remoting technology and being constructed by combining background program such as ASP.net and PHP, etc.
It can be a simple Picture Viewer and it also can be a complicated Web Album, Slide Show, Flash Video Stream Manager and Player. Flash Show not only can be used for absolutely static HTML website and local PC (Standard version) but also can be used for the dynamic websites, for example, it has been used for material library, photography fan community and art works presentation on websites (Professional version and Ultimate version).
The Ultimate version even has the advanced functions of Flash Video Encoder, multiple video formats support. Auto-detect the video type and convert to FLV format to be played in Flash Player.
Besides just used as a foreground presentation system, Flash Show is used for material library management of big websites which is one of the most important functions. Flash Show offers completely background management. With Flash Show, you can sort and manage the graphic and video materials according to the user and album; you also can add star standard and remarks to your materials; you can set the material security that defines which are for public and which is personal only according to the permissions.

The client program of Flash Media Show is developed by ActionScipt2 which is supported by Flash Player 8.0 or above version. The Flash Show Server program offers 2 versions - ASP.net and PHP. The interface of ASP.net version supports both Access (Professional) database and SQL Server (Ultimate) database. And the PHP version supports MySQL database. |
